Terms of service
Project terms and working arrangements
These terms describe the general working arrangements for website development, local SEO setup and monthly website care provided by Esvan Works. The written project proposal, agreed scope and any separate written agreement should be read alongside these terms.
Effective date: [OWNER TO CONFIRM BEFORE PUBLISHING]
1. Project scope and approval
Before work begins, Esvan Works and the client should agree in writing on the project scope, deliverables, price, estimated timeline and any important dependencies.
Only the deliverables described in that agreement are included. Extra pages, new features, integrations, translation, content writing, migration and other work outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote and written approval.
2. Pricing and payments
The current advertised starting prices are listed on the pricing page. The final price and deliverables must be confirmed in writing before work starts.
The standard project payment split is 50% in advance and 50% on delivery, unless another arrangement is agreed in writing. The project agreement should specify when the remaining balance is due and what constitutes delivery.
Any applicable taxes, domain registration, hosting, renewals, paid third-party tools and other external charges must be identified in the written quote. Do not assume such costs are included unless expressly stated.
3. Revisions and change requests
Website projects include two rounds of revisions, unless the written proposal states otherwise. A revision round means one consolidated set of feedback on the agreed work.
A revision adjusts the agreed design or content. A new page, new functionality, a change in the original requirements or substantial replacement content may be treated as additional work. Any extra cost or timeline change should be agreed before that work proceeds.
4. Client content and approvals
The client is responsible for supplying accurate business information, approved text, images, logos, service details, contact information and other materials required for the project, unless content creation is expressly included in the agreement.
The client should ensure they have the necessary rights and permissions to use supplied materials. The client is also responsible for checking the accuracy of business, legal, medical, property and other specialist information before launch.
Delays in providing content, access, feedback or approvals may affect the delivery date. Any revised timeline should be communicated and agreed as appropriate.
5. Delivery, launch and website ownership
Delivery timelines are estimates based on the agreed scope and the timely receipt of required content, access and approvals. A typical website may take 7–14 days after the required content is received, but individual projects can differ.
After the full agreed project payment has been received, ownership and transfer of the project-specific website deliverables will follow the written project agreement and applicable law. Any third-party software, fonts, images, services or licences remain subject to their own licence terms.
Domain names, hosting accounts and third-party subscriptions should, wherever practical, be registered in the client's name. Account access, transfer assistance and any migration work should be specified in the project agreement.
6. Hosting, domains and third-party services
Domain registration, hosting, email services, analytics, booking systems, payment providers and other third-party services may have separate fees, usage limits and terms.
The written project agreement should identify who creates and owns the relevant accounts, who pays recurring fees, who handles renewals, and whether migration or ongoing administration is included.
Esvan Works cannot guarantee the uninterrupted operation or continued availability of external platforms that it does not control.
7. Local SEO and business results
Local SEO work may include agreed website optimisation, Google Business Profile setup or improvements, search indexing support and related tasks specified in the proposal.
Search rankings, traffic, calls, enquiries, sales and specific Google Business Profile outcomes are not guaranteed. Results depend on factors including competition, location, business information, website condition and changes to third-party search systems.
The client is responsible for ensuring supplied business information is accurate and for providing appropriate access to any business profiles or tools needed for the work.
8. Monthly Care
Monthly Care is currently advertised at ₹1,499 per month. It covers the tasks agreed in writing, which may include routine updates, backup checks where supported by the hosting setup, uptime monitoring, basic maintenance and security checks, and a monthly report.
The care agreement should specify the included update limits, supported hosting environment, exclusions, start date and monthly billing arrangements. New features, major redesigns, emergency recovery, paid third-party services and substantial additional work are not included unless agreed separately.
Minimum subscription term: [OWNER TO CONFIRM]. Cancellation notice: [OWNER TO CONFIRM]. Cancellation method and any final billing arrangements: [OWNER TO CONFIRM].
9. Privacy and personal information
Personal information submitted through the website or during a project should be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and any applicable agreement.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate basis and any required notices or permissions before collecting personal information through their own websites and forms. Special care may be needed for health, financial or other sensitive information.
10. Cancellation, suspension and disputes
The project agreement should describe how either party can raise concerns, request a pause or terminate the engagement, and how completed work, committed costs and outstanding payments are handled.
Project-specific cancellation terms, refunds, suspension procedures and dispute-resolution arrangements must be confirmed in writing before publishing these terms as final.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
